Maintain financial records and have available for examination / questions from membership
Pay regular bills (i.e. electricity, taxes, etc.) as due
When larger expenses are incurred of an emergency nature (damage to the house, plumbing emergency, etc.) pay these with consultation with the board members.
When larger expenses are anticipated such as possible renovations, non-emergency repairs (for example, a new roof), treasurer will obtain estimates of cost and develop plan for paying these and bring forward to the board for approval.
In consultation with chairperson will keep membership up to date on tax issues that will impact each member’s personal taxes and send them in a timely fashion relative tax paperwork.
Secretary: - Linda Spokane
Take minutes at board or membership meetings
Send copies of minutes of meetings to membership and board within a timely fashion
Solicit input from membership for agenda items prior to developing agenda
Work with chairperson to develop agenda and send this to membership at least 1-2 weeks prior to scheduled meeting.
Site Manager: - Bruce Wright
Monitor property for problems, damage, etc.
Pay for minor repairs to cottage so that further damage does not occur with consultation with chairperson / treasurer. Will be reimbursed for said expense up to $1000.00 after consultation with Chairperson or Treasurer.
Assist / consult with opening and shutting cottage in order to monitor condition of property
Inform membership of local issues that may affect property (i.e. new zoning laws, township laws, etc.)
Serve as local contact person for local businesses, government, neighbors, etc.
Scheduling Manager: - Karen Ipock
Shall be responsible for maintaining a calendar and scheduling usage according to the criteria developed by the executive board.
Additional Board Members: - Pat Ipock, Paul Wright, Ben Dobson, Lea Gauthier, Matt Ipock
Attend board meetings
Vote on issues as they arise both during board meetings and as they arise throughout the year
Assist board members as needed
